Responsibilities:
You will
be responsible for key aspects of the
product and service documentation. You
will work closely with the product
development teams. Key
responsibilities include:
- Gather
and organize product information
necessary to create required
product and services documentation
- Review
engineering specifications,
interview development engineers
and business development personnel
to plan documentation content and
focus
- Interview
business development personnel to
coordinate, document marketing
material at YASU and ensure a
consistent message is sent
- Coordinate
layout and manual organization
with Interface Design Engineers.
- Install
and execute product as part of the
documenting process to ensure
documentation matches software
- Work
closely with usability designer,
development and quality assurance
personnel, to ensure that assigned
sections of documentation are
technically accurate, complete,
appropriate.
- Work
with QA personnel to ensure that
product documentation meets the
defined quality standards
Requirements:
- Desired
experience as copy writer/editor
for technology publications
- Degree/Diploma
in communication/advertising
- Excellent
communication skills
- Familiarity
with HTML, Photoshop, Acrobat
Writer, Frame Maker
- Knowledge
of system development life cycle
- Good
OO skills and experience in at
least one relational database
- Knowledge
